Boy, 2, dies in hospital after fall from Dublin apartment window

The two-year-old is understood to have fallen from an apartment window on the fourth floor of a building in Inchicore.

A TWO-YEAR-OLD boy has died at a Dublin hospital after falling from an apartment window earlier this morning.

The child fell from a window, understood to be on the fourth floor, at the Tramyard Court apartment complex in Inchicore.

A Garda spokesman said the emergency services were summoned shortly after 10am, and that the child was removed to Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin in a critical condition.

He died from his injuries in the hospital this afternoon.

The circumstances incident remain under investigation and Gardaí have asked witnesses to the incident to contact them.
